Snow Falling in the The Alps Again

A few days after one of the biggest early December snowfalls in the Alps, it is snowing again in many areas with significant accumulations forecast today and tomorrow.
The biggest snowfall totals of the past 24 hours have come from France and Switzerland with Tignes reporting 30cm, Les 2 Alpes 27cm and Serre Chevalier 23cm.
St Foy Tarentaise and Grimentz each reporting 20cm of fresh snow, the little Swiss resort of Charmey 45cm.
Fresh snow reports are coming in all the time.
The latest snowfall is expected to be widespread and heaviest today, Sunday 16th December, but continues in to Monday in many areas.
Total accumulations of up to 40-50cm are forecast.
