Afternoon all!
Fresh out of my first 3hr lesson at Hemel on Friday. Thoroughly enjoyed the two planks after 8 years of snowboarding.
I will still do both, but I'm really enjoying the challenge of starting something new and going through the various stages of progression!
Level 3+ booked for the end of the month which should have me to a rec standard. Will be going boot shopping soon to get something that fits a tad nicer than the rental stuff at Hemel (although I must say they're a lot better than the usual rental standard!)
Any hints or tips welcomed.

Welcome to J2ski 8) Well done on mastering both disciplines
When you come to buy boots, the one that feels comfy in the shop will almost certainly be too big. There is a good write up on getting a 1st pair of boots by AllyG, who went to Profeet in London.

Thanks for that, I will take a look. I am a dab hand at selecting snowboard boots, but with ski boots I'm a total noob and need all the advice I can get!
