Alpe D'Huez, 8 people, Ski in/out, Self Catered, 21st Mar 09, <£150 pp

Hello accommodation owners,

I am looking for some accommodation in the Alpe D'Huez resort (not a satelite village) that can fit 8 people. We must have at least one bedroom for two people to accommodate a couple travelling with us. We'd like to avoid using sofa beds so that the living area is free from clutter and people.

Ski in/out is our highest requirement, although we'd be willing to compromise if you had something within budget with extra features like large amount of space, sauna or jacuzzi, free ski pass. The accommodation would still have to be close to a piste.

We are not interested in paying any more for a catered chalet as we like to experience the local restaurants, but would consider catered if the price still met our requirements.

We need one week checking in on the 21st or 22nd of March 2009 and checking out 7 nights later.

Alpe d`Huez.......great place!

From my experiences of booking chalet accomadation over the years, you`ll need to pay a bit more than the £150 pp. If i remember rightly, we paid £220 pp for a ski in/out chalet in Alpe d`huez last year, situated at l`Altiport. Having said this, we had 10 people, so needed a larger chalet, and had a jacuzzi and sauna. Also, i suupose you might be able to get a better deal with you leaving it late.

Good luck in the hunt anyway......i know how frustrating it can be!
