Buying board and boots before the season starts

hey all,
heading to fernie for the season though might be chilling in vancouver prior to the season.

where is the best place to get preferably last seasons gear in canada. seem to remember something about a big sale in vancouver before season starts but am unsure.

any advice would be appreciated! thanks peter.

Most ski retailers in the US and I'm sure Canada too, have preseason sales to clear any remaining old stock. It's just luck if you find exactly what you are looking for, especially boots. You may be better off buying on line once you are there. Ebay prices start low in the early season. Consider a shopping trip to Seatle.

Prior snowboards are made in Whistler. About as good as snowboards get.
