Hi , I am booking a one week at Courchevel 1850 , has anyone been there any recommendations? Is realy snobby or is that just a myth ? Wherelse can I go in France for a good ski, good rustic village atmosphere ( with kids) and definetly good food? Thnx in advance B) B)

Courchevel does have that reputation - but there is some great skiing there (and in the linked resorts of the Three Valleys). If you are after good skiing and a more authentic atmosphere I'd suggest somewhere other than the mega-resorts.
If mid-season, I'd suggest looking at the Aravis resorts (La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, etc.) as they have good reputations for families and are quite unspoilt.
Otherwise, La Rosiere, Ste Foy and the Portes du Soleil (Morzine, Les Gets, etc.) might be worth a look.

there's also Chamonix. If you have a family, then dont stay near the town center ... try one of the nearby villages like Les Houches. I know Chamonix has a reputation for extreme skiing, but there an awful lot of variety there, so its not bad for the beginners, families, advanced alike.
