We've had an email from the hotel advising us that for winter season 17/18 all balconies are closed for safety reasons in Arcs 1950
Has anyone been or any idea why??

Very clever, however they are all open in 2000 and the lower down resorts. Having trawled the web it says "structural abnormality". Surely it's not a new thing that skiers have too much tartiflette at lunch?
If the snow theory is right, they need to
Shove it off with a broom - we've just got a €135 discount :D
That is the exact conversation we have had!!! We have said we will have to use that fridge thing in the room. Just 1 bottle of milk , no wine - just beer!!
It's a big problem, but you seem to have found a good solution so i'm less worried now. I mean with a name like Iceman I'd expect nothing less -) Where are you staying?

We are staying at the Radisson Blu apartments. Stayed there a couple of years ago - really nice. You can (could) fit a lot of beer on the balcony!
